Se celebró la entrega de los Premios Emmys que reconocen a lo mejor de la pantalla chica; entre los ganadores que conmovieron con su discurso estuvo Mark Ruffalo, ganador a Mejor Actor en Serie Limitada o Película por I Know This Much is True, quien llamó a la población estadounidense a votar el las próximas elecciones con “amor y fuerza”, además, hizo un llamado a “unirnos con amor, para los demás. Y si tienes privilegio, tienes que luchar por los menos afortunados y los más vulnerables”.
Fue la serie de comedia Schitt’s Creek la que se convirtió en la gran ganadora de la noche con cuatro estatuillas en las categorías de comedia. /redacción
